27 Jan The Innokin Endura T18 – A User’s Review
Innokin’s vaping devices are often considered as best vape pens available in the UK today, and it’s easy to see why. It’s certainly one of the biggest names in the industry, and their range is characterized by its high quality and excellent design. One of their more recent releases is the Endura T18, and since I’ve always been impressed by the Innokin devices I’ve used before, I couldn’t wait to try this one. I won’t leave you guessing – I really liked it. This starter kit is a world away from the old school original vaping kits which were cheap and cheerful and had the performance to match. This one has the look and feel of a big name manufacturer’s device, and with its combination of power, innovation and safety, even beginners are going to be able to get to grips with this user-friendly vape pen.
So, what do you need to know about this starter kit? The Endura T18 is supplied with a new PRISM tank with a convenient top filling system for extra ease of use. It has a 1000 mAh rechargeable battery, offers a fixed output of 14w and offers simple coil swapping so you can replace them easily without any fuss or hassle. The supplied coils are made from Japanese organic cotton, so you are guaranteed great flavour and excellent wicking. The kit comes with all of the essentials you need to get vaping right out of the box (apart from e-liquid of course.) When you open the box you’ll find the battery, a micro USB cable, 2 1.5 Ohm coil heads, a stand, spare o-rings and a user manual. Even better, it comes in several colors, so finding one that you love is a breeze!
Top Features of the Endura T18
As soon as I held the Endura T18, I could feel the solid quality of its build – just what you’d expect from an Innokin product. The tank functions in a remarkably similar way to the iSub Apex tank and as it fills from the top it’s easy to use. It also features the innovative PRISM flavour system to enhance the airflow around the coil to ensure excellent vapor and flavour. The coil swap system is no-spill making coil changes super simple. All I had to do was slide the oil coil out of the base and slide in a new one – it’s as easy as that! The tank itself is made from Pyrex, so it’s pretty durable and able to withstand a reasonable amount of impact. It can hold up to 2.5mls of e-juice, which may not be the biggest tank on the market, but it still shouldn’t need refilling too often.
The 1000mAh battery has a 14w fixed output which is capable of handling coil resistances down to 1.2 Ohms. While this is great for vapers like me, it’s no good if you’re a fan of sub ohm vaping. There are plenty of in-built safety features including low voltage, low resistance, overuse protection and overcharge protection, so users can rest assured that they’ll be perfectly safe using this device. On the downside, because the battery has a pretty small capacity it needs to be recharged fairly regularly, but luckily the included micro USB cable makes recharging quick and easy. The coils last around a week before they have to be replaced, but a spare comes with the kit so you’ve got a couple of weeks’ supply already.
What I loved about this device is the outstanding flavour it can produce which can really compete with some of the most expensive tanks on the market. While it doesn’t allow for sub ohm vaping, I was pretty impressed by the clouds this device can chuck out too. The T18 is easy to use, affordable and is a perfect “pick up and go” device which can be used whenever and wherever you like. I would wholeheartedly recommend this vape pen to both new and experienced vapers!
